Let the games begin!
Twitch Rivals spawns your favorite streamers in head-to-head competition in some of the biggest games on Twitch. Behind each of these streamers are equally competitive fan-bases who are fired up and ready get involved! In 2020, Twitch decided to create a Pre-Game show with the goal to increase viewership and engage with their community. We produced a variety of interactive concepts such as Trivia, Q&As, Fun Facts, Gameplay Highlights, alongside the Twitch Chat for the viewers to play along and socialize with each other.

To further improve engagement within the platform, we designed and produced a chatbot that brought the stream to life with real-time interactions. Viewers could vote on their favorite players, answer questions, and even play games like “What happens next?”. We also developed a variety of AR filters for Instagram that not only reinforced the brand presence, but also made it culturally relevant for the streamers, viewers, and gaming fans.
